WOW! I have not had time to post in a while! Here we go:

Hello! Sorry I have been such a world traveler that I have not had time to blog! I'm not even sure where I left off, but I will start with some Ireland details, and backtrack from there. :)

Well last Thursday, a group of gals and I all made the trip to Ireland for the weekend! We started out arriving in Dublin, one of the coolest cities ever, and then hopped onto a bus tour of all around southern Ireland. We met some really cool 'kiwis' (new zelanders) and aussies! Not to mention a billion couples, it had to have been discounted for couples because there was snogging going on at outrageous rates. (Kissing  people, jeesh!) We had a little bit of a rocky start, because half of our group missed their flight. Zoinks! But we had to move on, and met up with them the following day, so it all worked out for the better. We spent the first day making some headway travel-wise and saw Blarney Castle, staying in Kilarny for the night. Kilarny was the BEST city! Not only did we see a really silly theatrical experiment by a man named Pa, who single handedly drank 5 pinks of Guiness and 3 shots of straight wiskey throughout his performance, but later took us to the "Grand Hotel", aka the best club ever! It was separated into two sections, a live dance band section, playing AWESOME covers all night, and a legit strobe light infused, crazy ecstasy style techno dance club. It was so crazy good intense! Here are some shots:

Walk to Blarney Castle, so scenic!

Angled shot- it's a very big stone medieval castle!

So many cool parts to it, and the grounds extended for miles!

Climbing up the tower to kiss the Blarney stone (which I was too scared to do!)

View from the top!

View again, but this does not do it justice!

Then on day two, we made our way across the country stop, seeing some beautiful coastline, steeping Cliffs of Moher, and multiple "appreciation stops" as our bus driver called them. It was almost like a hop on hop off bus tour of the entire southern part of Ireland. Our tour guide was called (that's how they say my name is, 'I'm called') Shawn and he was so funny and made really dirty silly jokes. Very entertaining. However, he was also incredibly knowledgeable and gave us great concise histories and factual tidbits that helped us better engage with the sites we were seeing! He was great.
Here are some shots of day two:
Beautiful mountains and countryside...

BEACH!

An "appreciation stop"!

It was SO beautiful! There were also adorable sheepies everywhere and I so wanted to take one home :)

More appreciation stops!

One more beach stop, a different beach, but WAY prettier! There was even a little waterfall and the story goes that if you put your feet into water (The Atlantic Ocean), it steals a little bit of your soulllll! The irish are very superstitious!

Sandy toes!

Another appreciation stop- so unbelievable! We had the best weather too, and the weather people (who I don't think ever really know what's going on here) had predicted rain for the entire weekend, and we maybe saw rain once on Sunday. :)

On our last day we did a lot of driving to get back to Dublin, but we were able to get to the Cliffs of Moher, and after returning to Dublin, a friend and I went to visit the Guinness Factory (we didn't go in), but we DID go to the OLDEST pub in Ireland, dating back to the 12th century, and stole a Guinness pint glass from there.
Here are some shots:
Cliffs of Moher, I could have spent hours walking up and along them!

The Guinness Gate!

But we went to the Brazen Head instead.

Hope you enjoy'd your trip through Ireland!
