Carnaby Street!!

SO a couple of classes ago, our British Youth Culture (BEST CLASS EVER) Professor Richard took us on a trip of Soho, basically the hub of all things youth cultural: the music legends, fashion icons, artists, cult movements! Everything sprung out around Soho, and so to legitimize everything he'd been teaching us, he took us all over. These pictures are mainly from Carnaby Street, the really artsy street I mentioned in a previous entry. The mosaic below is insane, and has all kinds of literary, musical, artistic icons in it. As well as a really cool clock!

Carnaby overpass! Plus Richard (He's SO cool, not to mention he wears fedoras, duh)

AND THEN HE TOOK US TO ABBEY ROAD, which is really, just a road. BUT it's still incredibly magical. He even let us all walk on it, and took pictures of us! Richard's the best basically...

Abbey Road Studios, currently under construction, BUT this studio is sanctioned by the GOVERNMENT and can NEVER BE KNOCKED DOWN! Now that shows just how important the Beatles are. Cultural Icons!
